Mechanics
Soul Strip rules and price lists: shop, packs, gifts, upgrades, Bond and level thresholds.
Welcome to Battle!
You start each turn with 3 Energy. Cards cost the Energy shown on them, and unspent Energy is lost at the end of the turn.
Block
Block absorbs damage but resets at the start of your next turn. Build it for the enemy’s intent, not for later.
Card Reward
Take a reward card or skip it. Every new card makes the deck larger, so the cards you need appear less often.
Cursed Card
A Cursed card is stronger than a normal card at the same cost, but each play applies a penalty. That penalty shrinks as the card levels up.
Elite Enemy
An elite is more dangerous than a normal enemy, but always rewards a relic and extra Souls. Enter when you can trade health for a stronger run.
Event
Every event offers a trade for HP, Gold, or another resource. An unavailable option shows the price you cannot yet pay.
Exhaust
An Exhausted card leaves the current battle instead of going to your discard pile. It returns to your deck for the next battle.
Card Fusion
Collect 3 copies of a card and fuse them. The copies are consumed, and the card permanently gains +20% damage and Block.
Gallery
Bond levels unlock new art and grow through dates. Card levels grow from playing the card and increase its numbers.
Choose Your Path
Move only along lines from your current node. Hover the next node to see the choice it offers.
Soul Shop
Souls buy gifts that unlock the next Bond level. Bond XP itself comes from dates, kept promises, and defeated bosses.
Upgrades
Upgrades bought with Souls are permanent and apply to every future run.
Pack Inventory
Bosses drop packs. Ascension determines the pack tier and the maximum card level it can contain.
Power Card
A Power stays in play until the battle ends instead of going to the discard pile. Usually only 3 Powers can be active; some relics raise that limit.
Relic Acquired!
A relic gives a passive effect for the whole run, then disappears when the run ends.
Hot Springs
At a Rest Site, choose one: restore 30% of max HP, go on a date, or remove a card from your deck.
Shop
Spend Gold on cards and relics for the current run. You can also remove a card, but every later removal costs more.
Status Effects
Status effects appear as icons under HP. Hover one to see its effect and stacks; most decrease by 1 each turn.
Element Synergy!
Play 2 cards of the same element in one turn to trigger its bonus. Every later card of that element in the same turn triggers it again.
Waifu Choice
Your leader determines the element and starting deck. She also gives her own battle boon at the start of every fight.
X-Cost Card
An X-cost card spends all remaining Energy and repeats its effects once per Energy spent. It is usually best played last.
